In order to be able to enjoy the holidays at home in the immediate vicinity to the fullest, Graz Linien, on behalf of the City of Graz, have been offering the special bus line to the popular Graz leisure centre Schwarzlsee, which can be used free of charge, since the beginning of the holidays on 11 July.

A first interim balance shows: Since the start in July, 4,530 passengers have already used the service. Around 370 passengers were on their way to the lake in the Schwarzl Shuttle on the two peak days (24 and 29 July).

Statements on this:

“We have launched the shuttle service again this year in order to offer all Graz residents the opportunity to enjoy their holidays in our beautiful city in a variety of ways. More than 4,500 passengers have already used the Schwarzl Shuttle since the start of the holidays – this shows impressively that the offer created is also gladly taken up,” says Mayor Siegfried Nagl happily.

Holding Graz CEO Wolfgang Malik: “The Schwarzl Shuttle connects the Styrian capital in an uncomplicated and fast way with an attractive recreational area in the immediate vicinity. We are pleased that the shuttle service has been so well received with more than 4,500 passengers so far. On average, around 160 passengers use the free service every day.”

Holding Board Director Mark Perz: “The Schwarzl Shuttle will take our passengers to the popular Graz leisure centre Schwarzlsee free of charge every day until 12 September. The people of Graz also appreciate this service: More than 4,500 passengers have already used the shuttle for relaxing hours at the lake since the start of the holidays.”
