COVID-19: mea­sures of Hold­ing Graz

The measures of the federal government to contain coronavirus are also having effects on the operations of the largest municipal service company in Styria – Holding Graz. In various areas, Holding Graz is adapting its comprehensive offers and services on the basis of the regulations issued.

The safety and well-being of our passengers and employees are our top priority.

We currently have the following measures in place:

FOR OUR PASSENGERS:

TICKETS:

  • The Mobility and Sales Center is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
  • If a new Graz Annual Pass is purchased or extended from July 1, 20 euros will be added in the form of GrazGutscheine. Further information can be found here.

TIMETABLE + VEHICLES:

  • Since 15.2. we are also using the student amplifiers in the normal timetable again.
  • The first door of our buses is closed. The first row of seats is not available. Attention: This measure is only valid until 23 May 2022.
  • We make sure to use only streetcars with driver’s cabs. If it is operationally necessary, we also use sets without driver’s cab. In this case, the first door and the first three rows of seats are not available.
  • All vehicles are cleaned daily and intensively.

Waste management:

The usual opening hours apply for the recycling centre in Sturzgasse: Monday to Friday 7 am until 5 pm, Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays 8 am until 6 pm.

At the recycling center, we recommend wearing an FFP2 mask!. In addition, there is currently no unloading assistance.

 

Waste collection:

Waste disposal is taking place in the entire municipal area of Graz as usual. All employees of the Waste Management department and the cleaning staff of the Urban Space department are working  in compliance with strict hygiene regulations and in various teams.

The customer service for water management, urban space and waste management can be reached by telephone daily from 0 – 24 h (tel.: + 43 316 887-7272).

Personal appointments in the Wasserwerkgasse are only possible by telephone arrangement (tel.: + 43 316 887-7272). We recommend wearing an FFP2 mask!
