The future of mobility has to meet a host of criteria and will therefore take many routes. Namely underground, by clean and fast means. Graz metro will supplement existing systems, provide good connections and links to the regions around Graz, and ensure optimum interaction between tram, bus and suburban railway.

In short, Graz metro is the ideal addition to the existing public transport system and the future-oriented mobility solution.

On behalf of MUM2030+, an interdisciplinary committee of experts developed a feasibility study for an underground municipal light-rapid rail system for Graz.
