Smart, user-friendly and modern – 8 months of work that is something to be proud of. Holding Graz recently had a website relaunch and I took a look at what new features the website now has to offer.

Leisure

The leisure section is of course the one that interests me the most.

I don’t have to search for it for long after opening the page – right on the start screen a little wandering man icon catches my eye and with just one click it takes me to the desired subpage.

To adapt the extensive range of leisure activities to my needs and preferences, I can now choose from the following filters:

Practical: I don’t have to choose one filter, but can apply several at the same time.

I selected the following filters: “for athletes” and “with dog”. Click – lo and behold – 15 tailor-made results matching my selection.

Plabutsch, Thalersee, Leechwald and many more… the results are clearly displayed with pictures and short descriptions. Always included are small coloured circles (cf. filter, see illustration) that provide information about who the activity is suitable for.

So I know at a glance, for example, whether I can take my little niece with me in the pram without too much trouble.

Now I take a closer look at my next destination, the local mountain of Graz: the good old Schöckl. One click on my desired destination and a lot of useful information is displayed. Attractions for families, for sports enthusiasts and for people with mobility impairments are suggested. A barrier-free ascent is made possible by the cable car, so I can also take my niece along with her pram. Details on opening hours and prices are also clearly presented.

When I look out of the window, I feel more like relaxing in the warm… One more click and the Wellness filter is active. Now a selection matching my filter is displayed. The oyster’s wellness oasis would be just the thing, but unfortunately I have to wait until the “corona numbers” allow an opening. As soon as this happens, I can book the tickets directly on the website.

Conclusion

The marketing team of the Holding and the Graz agency “Moodley” did a really good job. With “Mobile First”, a lot of importance was attached to compatibility, so that the website is also available with all services on the move, via smartphone or tablet. Within a few seconds, you can reach the desired subpages on your mobile phone.
