Along with Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna, Zurich is one of the five major transfer airports that can be reached directly from Graz; currently with 3 flights per week, this will be increased by a further frequency from Sunday, 24 September.

“The additional frequency to Zurich represents an important upgrade of the flight schedule. For our passengers, every additional scheduled flight to a major transfer airport means more flexibility, as the number of transfer options increases,” informs Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. “This leads to better transfer times, higher service quality and ultimately shorter travel times.”

Already at the beginning of September, the connection between Graz and Munich was upgraded by 12 weekly flights; passengers from Graz now again have up to 3 daily connections to the Bavarian capital and from there to the whole world.

Via Zurich to the rest of the world

The Zurich hub offers passengers from Graz many interesting connecting flights within Europe, but also to America, South America or Asia. Flights are operated with various Airbus aircraft.

Zurich Airport, which celebrates its 75th birthday this year, has been highly appreciated by its passengers for many years, which is also reflected in the repeated award by the Airport Service Quality Award as “best airport in Europe” in the category 25 to 40 million passengers – the last time in 2022.
