Reg­u­la­tions for our baths & well­ness areas

The following regulations currently apply in our pools and wellness areas:

Outdoor pools:

  • No registration for visitors
  • 3 G rule for all guests (Tested, Vaccinated, Recovered) – please note ID requirement!
  • FFP-2 masks compulsory for guests in indoor areas/except for sports activities
  • Minimum safety distance of 1 m (access area, sunbathing areas, etc.)
  • Adjustment of maximum visitor numbers based on minimum distances (traffic light system in all pools and online, indicating access possibilities)
  • Sale of tickets: online & at the ticket offices
  • Sale of season tickets at the ticket offices & online

Indoor swimming pools:

  • Registration for visitors at each visit (links to pre-registration at the individual baths can be found below)*
  • 3 G rule for all guests (Tested, Vaccinated, Recovered) – please note ID requirement!
  • FFP-2 masks compulsory for guests in the indoor areas / except for sports activities
  • Minimum safety distance of 1 m – maximum of one visitor per 10 square metres
  • Adjustment of maximum visitor numbers based on minimum distances (traffic light system in all pools and online showing access possibilities)
  • Sale of tickets: online & at the ticket offices
  • No season tickets – there are only limited daily admissions (see below)

 

Adapted opening hours in our indoor pools:

Bad zur Sonne (Monday- Friday)
7 – 8 a.m.: Early swimming (open to the public; 3 EUR/h)
From 8 a.m.: Schools and swimming courses

Auster Sportbad (Monday – Sunday)
7 – 10 a.m.: sports clubs
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: open to the public (PLEASE NOTE: Due to the large number of reservations for schools/courses, access to the teaching pool is limited to a maximum of 5 additional people during this time due to Covid-19 regulations by the Federal Government).
From 4 p.m.: sports clubs

Wellness areas:

The Auster Wellness Spa will be open from 19 May.

The following regulations apply:

  • 3 G rule for all guests (Tested, Vaccinated, Recovered) – please note ID requirement!
  • Registration for visitors at each visit (link to pre-registration at the individual baths can be found below)*
  • Access only with FFP-2 mask – wearing the mask is not necessary in the area in summer due to the predominant use of the outdoor areas (wellness garden with pools)
  • Safety distance of 1 metre
  • 10 square metres of space per guest
  • Maximum number of guests (contingents!) is taken into account in ticket sales (online/at reception)
  • No reservation possible – online ticket purchase alone guarantees admission to the wellness pool

Our fa­cil­i­ties

The “Margerl” – where traditional meets trendy

Nestled between beautiful old buildings and not far from the city centre, the Margaretenbad offers urban swimming pool enjoyment plus a great culinary offering.

Here you will find students, pensioners, families and regular guests lying next to one another. A 25-metre pool and a separate children’s area plus slide and play area ensure visitors can cool off. There are sporting activities here too, plus great food.
