Spring brunch & delicacies from the farmer’s market with GrazGutscheinen

Slowly but surely, the cold can no longer defend itself against spring. So it’s time for a spring brunch. And where better to feel the spring while shopping than at the farmers’ market?

I love farmers’ markets, because here you can not only find unpackaged fruit and vegetables, but also the most beautiful selection of regional delicacies. Coupled with a little sunshine, even the weekly grocery shopping becomes an experience here.

All farmers and producers at the 13 city-organised farmers’ markets now accept Graz vouchers, so nothing stands in the way of regional and environmentally conscious shopping. At the bottom of this article, I have compiled a list of all participating farmers’ markets.

For our family brunch at the weekend, we went all out and filled our shopping basket to the top. Wild garlic, radishes, fresh farmhouse bread, hard sausages, spreads, cheese, cakes, fresh herbs and flowers are a must.

We usually can’t wait until the weekend when we have set the table beautifully, prepared and served everything together and can finally enjoy our brunch. This way, the farmers’ market becomes an experience twice over!

My tip: Take a colourful bouquet of spring flowers home with you, it not only decorates the brunch table, but also lifts your spirits!
