Since 1 October 2020, city management has been part of Holding Graz, the largest municipal service company in southern Austria. With targeted promotions and measures, the city management ensures that shopping and enjoyment in the centre of Graz become even more unique.
Already before the official integration, Holding Graz and the Citymanagement together set new milestones for the shopping and enjoyment experience in Graz:
After 13 years under the umbrella of Graz Tourism, the city management now becomes part of Holding Graz. Graz Voucher and all other projects thus move to a new location. All persons who deal with projects for the further development of our city centre will in future work together in a coordinated way. For a well-functioning city centre, this means new activities and projects in the areas of accessibility, atmosphere and services.
The tasks of the city management are focused on retail and food service in the city centre of Graz – shopping and enjoyment in the centre of Graz are to become even more unique for residents of the city and visitors alike with targeted activities and measures.
Graz city management is the competence centre for city marketing. In the broadly defined definition of city marketing, this comprises the sub-areas: location marketing, city marketing, event marketing, tourism marketing & administration marketing.
We want to set a positive signal for the city centre of Graz with all our projects. The districts 1 – 6 (city centre, St. Leonhard, Geidorf, Lend, Gries & Jakomini) form the geographical focus of the work of the city management.
