Grazer Schleppbahn GmbH operates its own railbed and track in the municipal area which companies can use for environmentally friendly transport.
Grazer Schleppbahn GmbH was established in 1894 for the operation of an abattoir. The increasing transport of coal meant that it was extended in 1943 to its current route length (3.7 km) from Karlauergürtel to the company premises of Holding Graz in Rudersdorf.
