Today we, Carina and Lisa, sisters and bloggers, born and raised in the beautiful capital of Styria, give you an insight into our Easter nest. We were lucky enough to find not only calorie-rich chocolate bunnies in our Easter nest, but also Graz vouchers that can be used in a variety of ways. These can be redeemed at over 700 businesses in Graz and are therefore the ideal gift for any occasion.

So, with GrazGutscheine in our pockets, we set off in search of the latest spring trends. However, today we would like to focus on decorating our dining tables. Since it’s not possible to go out for a nice meal at the moment, it’s all the more important for us to have our dining table nicely decorated at home. Because no matter whether we cook ourselves something delicious or pick something up at our favourite restaurant – the ambience is what counts.

Like every year in spring, floral decorative elements are in again this year. But if that’s too kitschy or predictable, reach for natural materials, bohostyle and dried flowers.

As in fashion, floral prints, palm trees, monstera, jungle motifs and the like are also in vogue when it comes to tableware. Those who prefer a simpler look but still don’t want to forego floral tableware altogether can opt for flower shapes instead of floral décor.

Probably the biggest trend in tableware, however, is earthenware. This nature-loving trend also fits perfectly into the bohemian style and lets us dream of Ibiza and Bali while we eat our pasta at home.

Cutlery continues to be particularly chic in gold and matching glasses with gold rims and cocktail cups in the shape of pineapples and also in gold are en vogue.

Of course, fresh flowers go perfectly on a beautifully laid table. We prefer to go to the market on Kaiser-Josef-Platz to “Blumen am Platzl”. Did you know that since the beginning of April, the GrazGutschein can also be redeemed at numerous farmers’ markets in Graz? So from now on we will also buy our favourite meadow flowers from the farmer’s wife we trust with GrazGutscheine.

We brought home the spring trends in table decorations and enjoyed our meal at home in a stylish ambience.
